Brendan (Bren) JosephKEENANIt is with much sadness that we announce the death of Bren on the 16th of February 2026.

A loving dad to Joanne and James, a dearly loved brother to John, Bernie, Ges, Kev, and a loved brother-in-law, uncle and good friend to many.

He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

The funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel on Thursday the 26th of March 2026 at 14:30pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations in loving memory of Bren to benefit Cancer Research UK can be made online or placed into the donations box at the service.

Thank you to everybody that generously made a donation at the funeral service and on Dad's/Bren's obituary. I think he would be really chuffed with everyone's contribution to a really fantastic charity that helps so many people.

Thank you for your kind words, stories and beautiful funny memories it is an honour to the man, the myth and the legend and to the whole of his family and friends and all that knew and loved him.

I have so many memories of you, us and your family over the years Brendan which will stay with me always.

I can't be there on Thursday to say goodbye as I'm abroad but I'll sit somewhere quiet and think of you.
